On the road to Lleida, 15km from la Seu, to our right, we have the bridge of la Palanca de Noves, meeting point of the Pallerols and Aguilar rivers with the Segre river. We will drive across the bridge and get to the village of Noves de Segre (670m). To the left of the village, there is a road which once was one of the most important communication links between Alt Urgell and Pallars Sobirà (a medieval road too). We go past the village of Bellpui and arrive at the river's gorge. We will go past the Miravall crrossing(1.150m), small village on the sunny side of the road. Driving up, we will go past the villages of Anyús and Espaén. Before getting to Trejuvell, we will experience one of the most beautiful sights of Cadí with the Pedraforca peak at the back, fork up. After that, we will drive past la Guàrdia d'Ares, the highest village in the valley (vall d'Aguilar), situated on a strategical site . Flat ground follows and at the background the green fields where the village of Taús is(1.452m), a privileged site on a sunny area with beautiful views of the high plateau and la Serra del Boumort. Hidden from the valley, the village of Castells (1.550m), on the Noguera Pallaresa influence, with the Major river flowing by. To get to Boumort mountain range, we will take the track just before reaching Taús; we will drive past the ruins of the village of Cuberes, up to Serra del Boumort, areas between 500-600m and 1.800-2.000m. The Boumort mountain range became National Protected area in the year 1.991.
