La Seu d'Urgell - Martinet - Montellà - Prats d'Aguiló

We will leave la Seu and take the road N-260, bound to Martinet, where we will cross the river Segre to take the track to the village of Montellà (1.158m)which overlooks all the Baridà and Cerdanya regions. We will take the track that will lead us to the col Coll de Jou (2.084m) to reach Prats d'Aguiló, with a mountain shelter (C.A. Torras, 1.820m). At Prats d'Aguiló, we have the northen part of the Cadí mountain range, and it is very common to see horses grazing there. From here, we can start an easy excursion which takes about 1h 30m, to the pass, Pas dels Gosolans (2.410m).
